Glownest Bedside Table

I'm rewriting this review for the THIRD time because the company deleted my original two posts... Nice in concept, poor in execution and OVERpriced. Overall I would not recommend. Have had two of these tables act as nightstands for the past 2 months. I was excited for them based on the reviews but was surprised when I actually received the product and started using it. First off, while the description says "walnut wood surface", something about the material feels cheap. I almost thought it was a type of plastic, so I do question the authenticity of the "wood". Secondly, the actual wireless charging rarely works. It is SO finicky that you have to constantly adjust the phone's placement for the charging to work and even that does not solve the issue all the time. It takes away from the "functionality" because you have to put in more effort than necessary. Additionally, this piece is overpriced. It's made in China and based on the quality of materials and its functionality, I realistically wouldn't pay over $100 for each one. I will say that I do love the warm white temp of the light. Lastly, the biggest frustration with this nightstand is that it glows a bright blue even with the light being turned off. The light button itself glows a bright blue at all times and underneath the top shelf, the whole light ring below glows blue also. So even with the actual light being turned off, the nightstand is lit up in a dark room at night. While you can try covering the button with something, blue glowing light still is beaming from underneath the top shelf and you can't sleep. It's frustrating. That's a major design miss in my opinion. I've included a picture of the button to show what it looks like at night.

Absolutely love my Glownest bedside tables. They are functional and very cool looking. Everyone that sees them loves them.
